Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Astrolal (astrolal.com), operated by Astrolal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Astrolal", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, India.

By accessing or using Astrolal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Nature of Service

1.1

Astrolal is an astrology and spiritual guidance platform. We provide:

• AI-generated Vedic Kundli and birth chart analysis
• Daily, weekly, and monthly horoscope content
• Human astrologer consultations (Panditji and Guruji tiers)
• Numerology, Vastu, and allied spiritual guidance
• Educational content about astrology and related subjects

1.2

Astrology is a belief system and cultural tradition. It is NOT a science in the empirical sense. Astrolal does not claim that astrological predictions are guaranteed, accurate, or certain. All content on Astrolal -- whether AI-generated or provided by human astrologers -- is for entertainment, guidance, and spiritual purposes ONLY.

Nothing on Astrolal constitutes:

• Medical advice or diagnosis
• Financial or investment advice
• Legal advice
• Psychological counseling
• A substitute for professional consultation in any field

2. Eligibility

• 2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use paid services.
• 2.2 You may generate a Kundli for a minor child without creating an account for them.
• 2.3 By using Astrolal, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
• 2.4 Astrolal is available to users worldwide. Certain payment methods may be limited by geography.

3. User Accounts

• 3.1 You may use the Free tier without creating an account (for Kundli generation).
• 3.2 An account is required for paid subscriptions, saving charts, and consultation bookings.
• 3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• 3.4 You must provide accurate registration information. Astrolal is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate birth data provided by you.
• 3.5 One account per person. You may not share accounts with others.
• 3.6 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Plan Overview

• FREE: ₹0 -- Core features, forever free, no credit card required
• SUPER: ₹299/month or ₹1,999/year -- AI-powered insights
• PRO: ₹499/month or ₹3,999/year -- Deep analysis and reports
• ELITE: ₹999/month or ₹7,999/year -- Complete intelligence + consultations

4.2 Yearly plans are billed annually as a single payment. Monthly plans are billed each month on the date of your original subscription.

4.3 Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST (18%). International users are charged in INR. Currency conversion is handled by your bank.

4.4 Payments are processed by Razorpay. By providing payment details, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service. Astrolal does not store your card or bank account details.

4.5 Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Panditji & Guruji Consultation Services

• 5.1 Astrolal is a marketplace platform connecting users with independent astrologers. Astrologers on the platform are independent contractors, not Astrolal employees.
• 5.2 Astrolal verifies astrologer credentials but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any guidance provided during consultations.
• 5.3 Consultation rates are set by astrologers within ranges defined by Astrolal. The per-minute rate is clearly displayed before you start a session.
• 5.4 Sessions are billed to the nearest minute. A minimum session duration of 5 minutes applies.

5.5 You must not:

• Record consultation sessions without the astrologer's explicit consent
• Share consultation content publicly (on social media, forums, etc.) without consent
• Abuse, harass, or make inappropriate requests to astrologers
• Attempt to contact astrologers outside the Astrolal platform

5.6 First 5 minutes: New users receive their first Panditji chat consultation free. This offer is limited to one free session per user account.

5.7 Astrolal reserves the right to remove astrologers from the platform at any time without liability to the astrologer or to users.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All content on Astrolal -- including AI-generated Kundli interpretations, horoscope text, reports, designs, software, and the Astrolal brand -- is owned by Astrolal Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

6.2 You may download and print reports generated for your personal use. You may NOT republish, sell, or use Astrolal content for commercial purposes.

6.3 Classical astrological texts referenced on Astrolal (BPHS, Brihat Jataka, etc.) are in the public domain. Our translations, summaries, and interpretations of these texts are our IP.

6.4 User-submitted content (reviews, feedback): By submitting, you grant Astrolal a perpetual, royalty-free license to use this content for improving our services and marketing.

7. Prohibited Uses

You must not use Astrolal to:

• Impersonate another person or falsify birth data to generate reports for deceptive purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape our AI interpretation system
• Use automated bots to generate bulk Kundlis or spam our platform
• Post or transmit any illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to contact or solicit Astrolal's astrologer partners off-platform
• Use our services to provide commercial astrology services to others without our written permission

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ASTROLAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• Astrological predictions will be accurate or fulfilled
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI interpretations will be free from bias or inaccuracies
• Astrologer consultations will produce desired outcomes

8.1 You use astrological guidance at your own discretion and risk. Astrolal expressly disclaims liability for any decisions made based on astrological content.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Astrolal's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9.2 We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Decisions made based on astrological guidance
• Actions of independent astrologers on our platform

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• 10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• 10.2 Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
• 10.3 If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Mumbai, India.
• 10.4 Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified:

• By email to registered users (at least 30 days notice)
• By prominent notice on the Astrolal website

Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
